"Candle Majick" She had listened to the stories all her life; she knew how it was done. To draw something to her, she must begin the spell on a new moon, to dispell it, begin on a waning moon. She lit the candle and pictured her heart’s desire, focusing for as long as she could maintain the concentration, then blew out the flame. This she repeated the next night, and again and again each night after, until the moon had completed its cycle. When the spell was done, she buried the candle debris. It should never be thrown in the trash! She spoke to no one about the spell, and when it was done, she dismissed it from her mind. A White Candle is linked to the Moon, and White Candle itself is used for Protection and Purification, but White contains all the colors, so it can be used to replace any of the other colors when they are not obtainable. She used a White Candle. The quote at the bottom of the print says: "Look at how a single candle can both defy and define the darkness."~ Anne Frank |
